ANNIE ALLEN has been named assistant to the president for institutional planning at Essex County College (N.J.). Most recently, Allen was associate to the provost for outreach and executive officer for cultural pluralism at the University of Vermont. She earned a bachelor's from the State University of New York and a master's from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
