JOSEPH S. LEWIS III has been appointed dean of the School of Art and Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Lewis comes to FIT from California State University at Northridge, where he was chair of the art department. He earned a bachelor's from Hamilton College and a master's from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
