DOROTHY SPURLOCK has been named director of sponsored programs in the office of research at the University of Toledo in Ohio. Prior to this appointment, she was the associate director of the office of research development for Eastern Michigan University. Spurlock earned a bachelor's in public administration and a master's in communication from Western Michigan University.
