New education department office to support innovation - Washington Update - Office of Innovation - Brief Article

The U.S. Department of Education is creating an Office of Innovation to become the "entrepreneurial" arm of the agency, promoting new ideas and strategies.

Nina Rees, former aide to Vice President Dick Cheney, will be deputy secretary in charge of the Office of Innovation and Improvement.
