DR. TONI-MARIE MONTGOMERY has been named dean of the school of music at Northwestern University in Illinois. Montgomery, an accomplished pianist, previously was dean of the school of fine arts at the University of Kansas. She earned a bachelor's from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, and master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Michigan.
