> DR. KEN HAREWOOD has been appointed the Glaxo Distinguished Professor of Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnology at North Carolina Central University. He is currently the director of the Julius L. Chambers Biomedical/Biotechnology Research Institute. Harewood earned a bachelor's degree from New York University and master's and doctoral degrees from City College of the City University of New York.
