DR. MERNOY E. HARRISON JR. has been named vice president and provost for Arizona State University's downtown Phoenix campus. He has worked for Arizona State since 1997. Most recently, he was executive vice president for administration and finance at ASU. He earned a bachelor's and MBA from Stanford University, and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
