> California State University, Northridge has received a $144,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health to assist CSUN biology labs' continued research of cell interaction by studying sea urchins and their embryos. In addition, the California Postsecondary Education Commission donated more than $99,000 to the "Sustainability and Dissemination in the Development of Teacher/Student Researchers" project that gives teachers and students in grades four through seven the opportunities to teach and learn science and research.
