* Average LSAT scores of a Howard law student is 152 (out a possible score of 180). The national average LSAT scores range between 150-155.

* 21 percent of the class of 1999 received judicial clerkships.

* The overall employment rate of Howard's 1999 graduates was 96 percent.

* President Clinton appointed seven Howard law graduates to federal judgeships.

* According to the 2000 U.S. News & World Report, Howard was among the top 25 law schools whose graduates report the highest median starting salary.

* In its first year of participation (2000), Howard's Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Moot Court Team became the first historically Black law school to win the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Tournament of the Champions Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition.
