CUMREC conference set for Minnesota - Tech Talk

BOULDER, COLO.

CUMREC, an affiliate organization of Educause that focuses on higher education administrative technology issues, will be convening its 2002 annual conference in Minneapolis, May 12-15. The CUMREC Annual Conference, founded in 1956, is the longest running conference devoted to promoting the understanding and use of information technology in higher education.

The University of Minnesota will serve as the local higher education sponsor of the 2002 conference. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis.

The CUMREC Conference, held annually at venues throughout the United States, typically draws from 600 to 700 higher education information technology professionals, including executives, managers, technicians and individuals in related fields.
