ELDRIDGE W. MCMILLAN has been named the first scholar-in-residence at Atlanta Metropolitan College. McMillan is the retiring president of the Southern Education Foundation and the longest-serving member of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. He earned a bachelor's from Clark College and a master's from Columbia University.
