DR. BEVERLY DANIEL TATUM has been appointed president of Spelman College in Atlanta. Tatum comes to Spelman from a 13-year career at Mount Holyoke College where she is currently acting president and dean of the college. She earned a bachelor's from Wesleyan University, a master's and a doctorate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
