Art Center College of Design has been awarded a grant of $450,000 from the James Irvine Foundation to support the diversification of its public programs initiatives

Art Center College of Design (Calif.) has been awarded a grant of $450,000 from the James Irvine Foundation to support the diversification of its public programs initiatives. The grant will support a three-year community outreach program to improve student recruitment and provide scholarships to diversify the student population in its public programs.

The Art Center will also use the grant to provide a faculty mentorship network for incoming students.
