DR. MARILYN MOBLEY MCKENZIE has been appointed associate provost for educational programs at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. McKenzie is an associate professor of English and founder of the African American Studies program at George Mason. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College, a master's from New York University and a doctorate from Case Western Reserve University.
