UK-based web application security company Kavado has announced that it has integrated anti-virus firm Symantec's Security Management System into its Interdo web application firewall.
The integration was fully certified by Symantec through its Technology Partner Program and allows Kavado to offer its customers automatic service from Symantec's Incident Manager, which allows administrators to address problems quickly and simply.

A spokesperson for Kavado said that businesses recognise that their is a weakness in the application layer of their systems that must be addressed by their enterprise-managed security infrastructure, and InterDo application firewall with Symantec Security Management System will allow them to do this.
