-European Network Security Services Market Growing, Says Study

Telecomworldwire, Feb 16, 1999

International Data Corp (IDC) says that over the next five years it expects the market for network-related security services, such as network consulting, integration, management and monitoring, to grow at almost 25% annually. According to a recent study by the firm, network security implementation services will be worth about US$48m in Europe this year, growing to US$97m by 2002, while the market for network consulting alone will be worth US$33m in 1999, rising to around US$63m by 2002.

And while demand for network security services will continue to increase, IDC forecasts that network monitoring will be growing at a faster pace than consulting and implementation.
