TELECOMWORLDWIRE-(C) 1994-9 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD Australian telecommunications provider Telstra has launched an online travel business, complete with consultants. The new venture, operated through its Big Pond Internet service web site at http://www.travel.bigpond.com provides information about airlines, hotels, car rental companies and package tours and allows visitors to book these services as well as apply for financing.
