Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM), the mobile operator of Telecom Italia Group, has chosen Sema Group as one of its main preferred IT partners for the development of its integrated customer care, billing and value-added services. As part of the agreement, TIM will implement Sema's SemaVision intelligent messaging module at its service centre in Rome to enable it to offer a new range of value-added messaging services. Sema's subsidiary in Brazil, Telenordeste Participacoes Cellular, will deploy SemaVision billing and rating components. In addition, TIM and Sema Group have jointly developed a new mobile banking system.
