TELECOMWORLDWIRE-7 April 2000-BT technology used by Iceland to track delivery van's journey (C)1994-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Iceland has employed BT technology in order to get a birds eye view of one of Iceland's delivery vans.

The specific van will be driven by Rick 'WebCamVanMan' Love from the Caernarvon Iceland store and will travel across the UK between April 3 and April 22. During this time customers are able to log into Iceland's web site at http://www.iceland.co.uk and enter a competition where they have to guess where the van is and win an online shop to the value of GBP50.

The journey comes as part of Iceland's push to promote their new Internet shopping service and to let people know that their delivery network is able to cover 97% of the population.
