The British e-Commerce Minister and her Swedish counterpart have electronically signed a joint agreement with the aid of JetForm technology.

The document, outlining a strategy for pan-European commerce, was signed by both parties using electronic signatures on an authenticated e-Form and will be published on the UK and Swedish Government web sites where the e-signatures can be viewed and verified by members of the public.

The signing was the first time an official document had been endorsed with a minister's electronic signature in the UK, according to JetForm.
