The new version of Adaptec Inc's GoBack productivity software solution will support Windows NT/2000 systems.
GoBack 2.2 Enterprise Edition, designed for the corporate IT market, offers continuous protection and system recovery. It features Auto-revert, to automatically revert a PC's hard disk to a pre-defined 'clean' state without intervention from the user. The function can also be scheduled to occur at any time, for example when the user logs off.

The solution enables a user to immediately restore Windows NT/2000 desktop and laptop PCs to working condition in the event of a system crash, virus attack, failed software installation or user error, according to Tom Shea of Adaptec's Software Products Group.
GoBack 2.2 Enterprise Edition will be available from November priced at USD89.95 for a single-user license.
