The New York-based payment systems developer Planet Payment and the Nebraska-based mail order and Internet payment processor DPI Merchant Services have formed a strategic partnership to provide real-time, multi-currency credit card processing to businesses.

Under the agreement DPI will include Planet Payment's multi-currency payment products in its own DPISecure Suite of processing systems. The combined product will enable customers to view prices and pay for goods in the currency of their choice while at the same time merchants can receive payments in the currency they want - irrespective of whether the transaction is completed face-to-face or remotely via a personal computer, mobile telephone or other wireless Internet device.
