Talkingbooks.org and Webgenerics have released a range of children's books available for download in MP3 format.

As well as ordering books on CD and tape from the Talkingbooks web site (http://www.talkingbooks.org), customers can now download books immediately onto an MP3 player. The digital books are encrypted using technology from Webgenerics, ensuring that they can only be used on 'trusted' MP3 players and no illegal copies can be made.

Over 250 children's classics are available from the publisher Ivory Shell, including the Brothers Grimm and The Arabian Nights.
