The Finnish technology group Teleste Corporation has received a EUR6.6m order for broadband amplifiers, fibre nodes and optical transmitters and receivers from the Dutch company Essent Kablecom.

The order was awarded in connection with Essent Kablecom's project to upgrade its networks in order to provide high speed Internet access.

Deliveries are scheduled to take place next year.
