US-based Global Data Systems Inc (GDS) has selected Computer Associates International Inc's Unicenter 3.0 network and systems management technology as the foundation for its Managed Service Provider business.
GPS will use Unicenter at its network operations centre to monitor and control the daily operations of the e-business environments of its worldwide customers. Unicenter will also enable GDS to provide customers with a secure web portal that presents multiple views of operational status as well as performance and utilisation trends across their e-business infrastructure.
