TELECOMWORLDWIRE-15 February 2001-The Telegraph Group selects Adobe's and Digital Technology's software (C)1994-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

The Telegraph Group Ltd, the company that publishes The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph in the UK, has unveiled plans to use Adobe Systems' InDesign and InCopy software together with Digital Technology International's NewsSpeed 5.0 editorial publishing system to streamline its newspaper publishing operations.

The combined system is to be used by over 600 people at The Daily Telegraph. It will enable the publisher to manage all elements of production, including text, pictures, media, ads, and archive materials, in an integrated package with a common user interface. This will simplify collaboration between editors, designers and production staff.

The system will also allow writers to see their stories exactly as they will appear in page layout.
