Linde Gas AG, an industrial gas supplier formed last year from the merger of Germany's Linde Technische Gase and Sweden's AGA, is to install Aspen Technology Inc's Aspen Manufacturing Suite.
The German-based gas supplier will use Aspen`s product to provide an information management system for its 700 manufacturing sites in 50 countries throughout Europe, the US, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

Linde hopes that the new software, which gives access to synchronised, real-time production data from the company's worldwide network of sites, will deliver increased business performance through improved co-ordination and decision making.
