IBM Corp and J.D. Edwards have formed an alliance to jointly market and sell collaborative commerce systems to selected markets within the public sector and wholesale distribution industries.
The companies will combine J.D. Edwards' OneWorld Xe e-business applications with IBM's hardware and software, such as its DB2 Universal Database, WebSphere Commerce Suite, WebSphere MarketPlace Edition and WebSphere application server. IBM will also provide consulting, customisation and integration services for the joint solutions.
