The Canadian-based teleconferencing and webcasting services provider ViaVid Broadcasting Inc has upgraded its software line as well as its content delivery network and web site.
The enhancements to ViaVid's ViaCast audio webcasting software and ViaVision slide presentation system include the addition of online chat, question & answer sessions and a new file processing and upload platform to increase performance.

ViaVid's ViaTracker statistical data tracking system, meanwhile, can now be used by companies to analyse their participant data in real time and the system has also been tightly integrated with ViaCast and ViaVision to allow all event management to be handled from within the ViaTracker platform.
In addition ViaVid has converted its database layer to XML to increase performance and compatibility with industry standards. Availability of the upgrades was not disclosed.
