RSA Security provides secure user authentication for Riskclick's customers - Brief Article

Telecomworldwire,  Oct 25, 2001

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-25 October 2001-RSA Security provides secure user authentication for Riskclick's customers (C)1994-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

US-based Riskclick Inc has enhanced its collaborative e-business software with RSA Security Inc's security technology.

Riskclick's hosted collaborative e-business offering, which is used by brokers, underwriters, risk managers and third-party risk solution providers to track and transfer sensitive materials, now comes with RSA's SecurID two-factor authentication software as an additional security feature.

Each Riskclick end-user is assigned an RSA SecurID authenticator which generates a new, unpredictable code every 60 seconds. The user enters the code, together with his/her user name and PIN when logging on to Risclick after which a special user authentication security server from RSA validates the whole passcode. If the passcode is correct the user is then granted access to the protected resources and applications.
