US-based technology company Imation Corp has announced full support for the new Microsoft Windows XP operating system and Windows Media Audio in its new Imation RipGO! mini CD-R burner and digital audio player.

Imation RipGO! is claimed to be the smallest device available for both recording compressed music on CDs and high-performance playback of digital music in MP3 and WMA formats. It features a battery-powered USB CD-R drive which uses mini (80mm) CD-R discs to store and play up to 185Mb of digital information.

The product is the first portable mini CD-R burner and digital audio player to support Windows XP, according to Imation.
