TELECOMWORLDWIRE-25 September 2001-Western Europe's ERP services market to enjoy solid growth in next five years - report (C)1994-2001 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com
The western European market for services around enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications is expected to grow from USD15bn this year to USD24bn by 2005, according to a new report from IDC.
Currently 61% of spending on ERP services, which include consulting, implementation, support, training and ERP application operation services, is concentrated in western Europe's four largest economies: Germany, Britain, France and Italy. IDC believes that demand for the services will be strong in the future, though it will not go back to the levels seen in 1998 and 1999.
