The British-based telecomms company Cable and Wireless Plc (C&W) has finalised its acquisition of the US network services provider Digital Island Inc.
Under the agreement C&W purchased Digital Island for USD3.40/share in cash by means of a tender offer for all outstanding shares of Digital Island's common stock. The tender offer commenced at the end of May and ended in July.
Digital Island has now been merged with Dali Acquisition Corp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of C&W.
