Handheld computer provider Palm Inc has launched a new version of its Palm Desktop software for the Mac OS X, version 4.0.
The new Palm Desktop 4.0 software offers native Mac OS X support, improved handheld-to-desktop data compatibility, vCard/vCal support and the ability to use multiple languages. Mac users will now be able to utilise the Palm Desktop 4.0 for the Mac OS X to synchronise Palm handhelds using different connections without manually changing the settings each time. In addition, the vCard and vCal allows users to share data between previously incompatible products, according to the company.
