IT services provider Atos Origin has entered into an agreement to acquire consulting firm KPMG Consulting in the UK and The Netherlands.
The purchase is reportedly being made to provide Atos Origin with consulting services and also to increase the company's size in the UK market. Following the acquisition, Atos Origin will offer consulting, systems integration and managed services together with processing for online systems.
The transaction is still subject to partner, shareholder and regulatory approvals.
