Discreet, a division of Autodesk Inc, has launched version 1.2 of its gmax video game modification application.
The new release enables users to modify selected PC games and add their own custom characters, environments and animations. Game modifications are possible for several offerings from companies such as Infogrammes, Electronic Arts and Microsoft.

Version 1.2 of the gmax game modification application now features support for the desktop 3D content creation software from Discreet and a number of performance enhancements for the Intel Pentium 4 processor.
The software can be downloaded for free from http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax.
