BT Openworld, the mass market Internet division of BT plc, has formed an agreement with the Financial Times news web site for an online news and business intelligence gathering service.

The FT Pro service for BT Openworld customers is aimed primarily at small and medium-sized firms and lets subscribers track news on selected issues, sectors or companies from over 160 media sources. Once a company has subscribed to the service it receives a personalised homepage where the requested news is posted.

An annual subscription to the FT Pro service costs GBP300 VAT for up to five users.
