Power plant equipment manufacturer Siemens Power Generation has awarded a contract to financial software provider Changepoint Corp for the provision of IT support automation software.

Changepoint will now manage and automate Siemens Power Generation's IT business processes by supplying the company's IT support team with Changepoint 8.0, a professional services automation solution. Initially half of the IT support team will be migrated to the solution.

Deployment work is expected to be completed by July 2003. To date no financial details of the contract have been disclosed.
