Integrated circuit developer AMD Inc has joined forces with Chinese microprocessor design company BLX IC Design Corp Ltd to open a Computing Client Development Center in Beijing, China.
The new facility will help both of the companies work with local partners and government entities. Also, AMD and BLX can integrate their technologies and solutions to develop thin client solutions that can be delivered to organisations in the China region.

Two new Thin Client Reference Designs have been developed as a result of the agreement that utilise AMD Alchemy processor solutions together with Godson processor technology from BLX.
The financial terms of the agreement have not been announced.
