The Norwegian fixed wireless and satellite communication equipment and systems developer Nera ASA said today (24 March) that it had received a broadband satellite IP network contract from the Spanish satellite service provider Hispasat.

The contract covered the establishment of a new broadband satellite IP network for the broadcasting of broadband IP services in Spain, Portugal and North and South America, Nera said.

No financial details were disclosed.
