Video and voice conferencing solutions provider Polycom Inc has used its technology to create a videoconferencing link between the Children's Ward at Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, and Father Christmas in Lapland.
The children in the hospital can now speak to Father Christmas in real-time and inform him of what they want for Christmas. Polycom used its MedLink interactive telemedicine workstation and the Welsh Health Video Service to create the video link.
