Axios Systems has been chosen by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a United Nations` agency, to provide its assyst product as the tool for its new IT Service Desk.

According to Axios, the agency has merged three Help Desks into one central unit at its Geneva headquarters and the Axios' Help Desk and IT Service management (ITSM) software was chosen after an international bidding process.

The ITU`s project manager, ICT System Analyst Jarle Martinsen has said that Axios was chosen because of functionality, price and its ability to meet given requirements.

No financial details have been disclosed.
