Mobile operator T-Mobile is giving its subscribers the chance to obtain Lord of the Rings-themed content for their mobile phone following a recently signed agreement with New Line Cinema and JAMDAT Mobile.
T-Mobile customers can now download wallpapers, ring tones, games, logos and pictures based on the film featuring a number of characters such as Aragorn, Frodo, Legolas, Gollum and Gandalf. The content will be made available to around 54m subscribers in the UK, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and the Slovak Republic.

A spokesperson for T-Mobile said the new Lord of the Rings content is being offered in a bid to encourage usage of the company's entertainment offerings.
No pricing details were revealed.
