Microsoft has agreed a deal with Chinese IT software developer and distributor Digital China Holdings (DCH) to establish a global strategic partnership.

Microsoft and DCH will jointly develop software applications for a number of Chinese markets including customs, telecomms and taxation.

The deal is Microsoft's latest attempt to consolidate its standing in the Chinese market adding to the three other strategic partnerships it has developed in the country since 2000, reports Xinhuanet.
