Web-powered, Java-based automated library systems supplier Innovative Interfaces has announced that it has installed its Via automated library system in the New Haven Unified School District in Union City, California, US.

A total of 12 schools and 14 library sites in the area will obtain access to the Via system. This will enable them to access a variety of reporting, borrowing and acquisition functions through an interface that is designed to be easy to use for library staff.

The Via system will replace the district's existing Sirsi Inlex system.

The cost of the implementation was not disclosed.
