LEGATO and Nexsan team for data protection solutions development

Storage solutions supplier Nexsan Technologies has entered into an agreement with information management software solutions provider LEGATO Software to deliver joint data protection solutions.

Both companies will now work together to deliver data access, availability and protection to users with Nexsan's InfiniSAN line of disk-based storage solutions. This will be achieved through the utilisation of LEGATO's information protection, intelligent data management, availability and e-mail management solutions such as NetWorker, DiskXtender, EmailXtender and RepliStor.

Also as part of the agreement LEGATO will become a member of Nexsan's Strategic Solutions Program.

The financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
