Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Wednesday (6 October) that it would cooperate with the Finnish navigation and coordination applications provider Navicore Oy to supply a field force management solution to Finnish energy services provider Altro Group.

The solution would enhance maintenance and repair of Altro's distribution network, according to TietoEnator.

The system would be installed in the mobile phones used by Altro's field engineers sent to repair network faults. Maintenance and repair work orders would be routed to the mobile phones from the company's Care Center task management system.
