The Help Desk Institute (HDI), a help desk and IT support organisation, has announced the launch of http://www.supportworld.co.uk. SupportWorld, written and published by HDI, is claimed to be the only magazine dedicated to help desk and IT support professionals.

SupportWorld magazine covers the three key areas of a support operation - people, process and technology issues - and is published every other month. Every issue features news about products and services within the help desk industry, with regular sections including news analysis, feature articles, technology overviews with case studies, supplier profiles and product reviews.
The launch of the new website enables help desk and IT support professionals to view news, download trials of the latest software releases and updates, and download pdfs of recent issues of the magazine. Visitors can also view a directory of help desk suppliers, request a media pack and subscribe to receive the magazine, HDI said.
