TELECOMWORLDWIRE-7 July 2005-O2 Germany renews contract to use Interconnect bureau service from Azure(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

German mobile operator O2 Germany is reported to have renewed its contract to use the Interconnect bureau service from Azure Solutions, a revenue-assurance company.

Azure said its Interconnect bureau provides operators with a solution to manage interconnect traffic that allows them to pay on a 'pay-as-you-grow' basis. This removes the need for a big capital outlay, making the service cost-effective for operators.

According to Azure, operators using the Interconnect bureau can manage their interconnect billing functions remotely, accessing them via a secure web-based interface. It added that its service provides access to call information at any time, enables more accurate billing and reconciling of interconnect traffic and increases visibility of important data.

No financial details were disclosed.
