Virgin Mobile has unveiled an new brand of mobile phones aimed at 16-30 year olds, under the new brand name of 'Lobster'. Over the coming months the company plans to build a series of promotions, merchandise, PR and advertising campaigns around the Lobster brand as the range develops.
The Lobster 485 is the first phone in the range and will be one of the smallest flip handsets available in Europe featuring a 262k colour screen and an integrated VGA camera. The palm-sized phone will be available in brushed steel effect with black trim and will be launched in Virgin Mobile stockists across the UK from early June.

Further Lobster-branded phones will be launched throughout 2005 and beyond. All Lobster phones will feature a Virgin-branded red shortcut key, providing access to Virgin Mobile's entertainment content service, BITES, which features music, celebrity news and gossip, humour, sport and product recommendations.
The Lobster 485 will be available in early June price at GBP89.99.
